ArcGIS Desktop Retired

ArcGIS Desktop (different from ArcGIS Pro), is retiring in 2026. The Desktop licensing was not renewed even though there is another year until it is gone. Below is the information we have regarding this retirement:
"Our Educational Edition renewal does not include ArcGIS desktop. Esri removed Desktop licensing. Per our rep: All renewals happening after July 1, 2024 will no longer receive single and concurrent use licenses for ArcGIS Desktop. Esri is only allowing access to ArcGIS Pro + modules."
Users can migrate their information over to ArcGIS Pro by doing an export/import. I am not 100% sure how this works but Esri has resources available for this. https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/arcgis-desktop/migration-details
In addition to Pro, users can use the online version. Unfortunately, per our rep, there is no legacy licensing.
